Storytelling underlies all of my endeavors. As an award-winning journalist, I bring a quiver of multimedia skills to the table. I hold a master's in Journalism from the Reynolds School of Journalism and  belong to the National Press Photographers Association and Society of Environmental Journalists

As a Part 107 FAA Certified Drone Pilot, I constantly seek different perspectives in reporting, photography, videography, and writing.

My work appears in The New Lede, Ambrook Research, Reno Gazette-Journal, USA Today, American West Magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle, The Progressive, OurTownReno, and many more. 

I am also a regular contributor to the Sierra Nevada Ally, for which I won Nevada's Press Association's 2023 Journalist of Merit award and the 2024 Best Photo Essay.
